This Privacy Policy explains how Vantage Curation ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit vantagecuration.com or use our products and services, including the ShadowEvoEvo application (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication details through our authentication provider.
Content you create. Chats, memories, projects, and other content you generate in ShadowEvo are stored so we can sync them to your account across devices.
Payment information. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy terms.
Usage & device data. Basic technical information such as browser type, device, and interactions with the Services, collected via cookies and similar local-storage technologies.
Communications. Information you send us by email or contact forms.

2. How we use your information

To provide, operate, and improve the Services;
To create and manage your account and sync your content;
To process payments and manage subscriptions;
To respond to support requests and communicate with you;
To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. AI processing

ShadowEvo uses third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic) to generate responses. When you send a message, the necessary content is transmitted to the AI provider to produce a reply, subject to that provider's terms and privacy policy. Do not submit information you are not permitted to share with a third-party processor.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Service providers that help us run the Services — for example hosting, database and authentication, payment processing, and AI providers — under agreements limiting their use of your data;
Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety;
Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Cookies & local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect functionality.

We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure the performance of our advertising and to reach people who may be interested in our products. These may set cookies and share limited event data — such as page views, account sign-ups, and purchases — with Meta; any email used for matching is hashed before it is sent. You can opt out through your Meta ad preferences or your browser settings.

6. Data retention & your choices

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Signing out of ShadowEvo clears locally stored content on that device. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International users

We operate from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you consent to processing your information in the U.S. and other countries where we or our providers operate.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
